This is the CNC driven version of the ST 51 rotary table. You can order the table as shown, or if you already have our ST 51, we can supply a simple instruction file on how to upgrade to the CNC version. The table retains all the manual functions and can still utilize the ST 51 T adjustable tailstock. The CNC version comes with a stepper motor tuned for the A axis on the Gecko drive. Your machine computer already is configured for the A axis as a rotary table. The unit has very fine resolution due to its 40 to 1 drive ratio and microstepping drive. The table has an adjustable eccentric to maintain full contact of the worm gear to the crown wheel for minimum lash.
To prevent damage, the unit is shipped with the stepper motor removed, but only requires a few minutes to re-install.
